Love Valentine Pocket

This Valentine treat pocket was our project at the Cricut class last week and was inspired by a similar heart pocket that my friend and fellow consultant, Ginni Candelaria, made for me.

We cut this heart from the <shape1> key on page 26 in the Cricut booklet.  I cut the letters "L V E" and cut the flower  for the "O" -- all with the Cricut AP cartridge.

We embellished the pocket with Sparkles, a Designer Rhinestone Brad for the flower center, ribbon, and Just Blooms Paper Shapes butterflies.  We added a "handle" by attaching wide ribbon with brads.

A Week of Stamp Camp Projects - #4 - Snowflake

This beautiful card features our Dimensional Elements Snowflakes, Elemental Paper, Pacifica and Colonial White Cardstock, Prisma Glitter, and our Designer Rhinestone Brads.

*We sponged the DE Snowflake with Bamboo ink and set aside to dry.

*We sanded the Pacifica snowflake that was cut with the Cricut AP cartridge.

*We stamped 1st and 2nd Generation snowflakes with Bamboo ink on the Cricut Square image.  Then we stamped "Laugh until your heart overflows."  (that is my favorite sentiment in the catalog right now).

*We added Bonding Memories glue to the tips of the snowflake and dipped them in Prisma Glitter (Very, Very Messy - but pretty).

More to come tomorrow!

Wonderland Snowflake Card

This card screams "Winter"!  (Although it is supposed to be 70 degrees today and we are expecting 55 mph wind and a dust storm - remember...the weather man is never wrong about wind and dust!)

I used the Snowflakes stamp set which is Cricut AP compatible.  I cut both snowflakes on the Cricut and then stamped them with the coordinating stamps.  I embellished them with Martha Stewart glitter to make them sparkle and shine.  I also used our Designer Rhinestone Brads, sparkles, Bling Assortment Pins and ribbon from my stash.

Peace on Earth Card

This card is also a product of the <square1> key on the Cricut.  The star embellishment is the <star1>  in graduated sizes and I popped each layer with 3D Foam Tape.   I chose the Christmas Love stamp set for the sentiment and I used a Rhinestone brad and sparkles to jazz it up a bit.  The card was cut as a 4 1/2" card from the <square1> key.

All Decked Out Snowman

I bought these cute socks at CVS Pharmacy several weeks ago because I love snowmen!  They inspired me to get out my All Decked Out stamp set and make this 6x6 card.

I love this stamp set! It is one of those stamps that you stamp and color the elements to add pop!  The All Decked Out stamp set includes snowman parts:  the body in separate pieces, mittens, arms, scarves, hats, and snowflake flourishes.

Since the socks had two shades of blue, I looked through my stash to find things in those colors.  Believe it or not, the Pacifica B&T behind the snowman came from the Dreamin' paper packet!  I added Crystal Blue and Pacifica Cardstock to it and Whoala!  Think outside the box when choosing paper patterns and you will be amazed with what you can create!

I added this photo because I wanted you to see that Prisma Glitter was added to the snowflake flourishes, which was hard to see with the straight on shot of it.  The snowman is lightly water colored blue with our watercolor pencils and watercolor brush.  I used Rhinestone Brads to embellish  the card, as well as ribbon from the Blue Ribbon Assortment.

**Tips - Use Bonding Memories Glue Pen to add Prisma Glitter to any project.  Put the glue on the area you wish to highlight; let glue dry to clear; add Prisma Glitter with the eraser on a pencil (which just adds glitter where you want it and not all over your table and your lap!).

Hip Hip Hooray Birthday Card

This card was created with our Sonoma Paper and features an Heirloom Resin Flower and a Rhinestone Designer Brad.  I also used sparkles to dot the "I's".  This paper is perfect for weddings, heritage, or very elegant scrapbook pages or cards.

I stamped with the following stamps:  D1482 Love Life and D1491  Hooray Bouquet (both of these are my Favorite Picks for this catalog!).
