Wonderland Workshop on the Go Cards

These cards are from the Wonderland Workshops on the Go that were held last week.  The kit included the Wonderland Paper,Wonderland Stamp Set, Pin Clips, Sparkles, and the Wonderland Workshop Guide.  I created these cards and the  instructions for the workshops.

Grey Flannel is not my favorite color in our 60 exclusive colors, however, I do love this card.  It looks icy and wintry.  I am still hoping for some winter weather in Texas!

This ended up being my favorite card.  I used the rock 'n roll technique with 1st and 2nd generation Twilight ink and Chocolate for the word stamp.  And, who doesn't love a cappuccino, hot chocolate, or cup of hot tea!

Wonderland Snowflake Card

This card screams "Winter"!  (Although it is supposed to be 70 degrees today and we are expecting 55 mph wind and a dust storm - remember...the weather man is never wrong about wind and dust!)

I used the Snowflakes stamp set which is Cricut AP compatible.  I cut both snowflakes on the Cricut and then stamped them with the coordinating stamps.  I embellished them with Martha Stewart glitter to make them sparkle and shine.  I also used our Designer Rhinestone Brads, sparkles, Bling Assortment Pins and ribbon from my stash.

Winter Joy Snowman Card

The Winter Joy stamp set was used to create this winter scene.  We don't get much snow in our part of the world, but we love it when we get snow.  The kids beg to build a snowman and we rarely get enough to roll one up!  When the weather men forecast snow, we start praying for lots of it (like 3" or more).  Everyone around here says the forecast is usually wrong unless they forecast WIND!  They are never wrong about wind!  On that note - please pray for West Texas - we have been in a drought for about a year now and we really need snow, rain, something!

My favorite things about the Winter Joy stamp set are these kids building a snowman, the large word "JOY", and a sentiment that says "Laugh until your heart overflows."

I embossed the background with the Swiss Dot Cuttlebug template and then sanded it so that it would appear to be snow falling.  The paper is Wonderland and I used the Bling Assortment, Pearl Opaques, and the flower is from the Bliss Level 2 Assortment.

PS - Wonderland Paper and the Bliss Assortment are being retired as of January 31

All Decked Out Snowman 2

It has been a while since I posted! We had a death in the family last week and traveled to East Texas. I am just getting back to "normal" since the holidays over and
getting back home.

I have my sweet friend, Bea, to thank for this cute little snowman treat holder.  She made me one for Christmas that had peppermint patties in it and the background circles were black.  I am a snowman collector, so I thought it was darling, and I made lots of them for the kids at school and also for December class attendees.

You either punch the scalloped circle (2") with our circle punch (or you can cut them out with the Cricut AP cartridge - you will need 6 of the blue scalloped circles ).   The white circles (2)  are from a 1 1/2" punch (or cut on the Cricut).
I used the "All Decked Out" stamp set to stamp his face, buttons, hat,  and the snow flourish.  I stamped the face, buttons, and hat with StazOn ink and then colored them with our markers (Goldrush and Crystal Blue).  Adhere the circles together and then adhere the candy in the middle.  We are making these at my Playgroups this week using White Chocolate Dove squares.

This side view shows the candy inside.  Any candy will do that is thin and within the size of your punched circles.

I dreamed about this card two nights ago and knew it was the one we needed to make at Playgroup this month (this month we are making 2 projects!).  I cut the scalloped circles, white circles, ticket, and the frame/rectangle on the Cricut (such a time saver!).  We made the same snowman to put on this card.  We used "All Decked Out,"  "Snow Flurries," and the sentiment is from "Bundled Buddies."  We embellished the card with pearl opaques, Prisma Glitter, and brown ribbon from my stash.

PS - If you love the Wonderland paper packet, purchase it!  It will be retiring on February 1st so the last day you can purchase it is January 31st.
