A Little Birdie Told Me....Circle Cricut Card

This is the final card from my Cricut Class last week.  This card was cut using the Card/Shift buttons and I cut it 4 1/2".  The cricut cuts the small flowers out of the card base, so I added Lucy B&T paper behind them to peek through.

I cut the large flower <flower8> on page 50 and stamped it with the Lucy WOTG stamp set.  I used Sparkles to embellish the flowers.  I cut the leaves from the <petal2> key and crimped them with the Fiskar Crimping Tool.  I used the "Life is Tweet" stamp of the month for the sentiment and the vines.

This is the inside of the card and I used the sentiment, flowers, and bird from "Life is Tweet."  Today is the last day to order your "Life is Tweet" June Stamp of the Month.  Also, Buy 2 stamp sets, Get 1 FREE ends today too!

Lucy Tag Card - Cricut Class

This card was one that I made for the Cricut Class last week.  The card shape is on page 50 (our focus page) and is on the Card button - I cut it 5 1/2" - The Cricut AP measures the height of whatever you are cutting.  The scalloped piece is on the Decorative Layer on page 50 as well (cut 5 1/2").

I also cut the flowers with <flower8> and used the Lucy Workshop on the Go stamp set to stamp the flowers.  I cut the leaves using <petal2> and then crimped them with the Fiskars crimping tool.  I used Foam Tape to pop the flowers up and added Pearl Opaques to dress it up.  I added pink Seam Binding to top of the tag card to finish.

Happy Birthday Clear Card

This is one of our clear cards and I used Lucy paper and the Lucy Workshops on the Go stamp set for all of the stamping.  I cut the flower with the Cricut AP Cartridge and then used the coordinating stamp.  I cut the leaves out on the cricut and crimped them with my Fiskars crimping tool.  I made a  fold in each leaf and distressed them with grey wool ink.

I used sparkles and Neutral Baker's Twine in grey wool to embellish this card.

Wonderland Workshop on the Go Cards

These cards are from the Wonderland Workshops on the Go that were held last week.  The kit included the Wonderland Paper,Wonderland Stamp Set, Pin Clips, Sparkles, and the Wonderland Workshop Guide.  I created these cards and the  instructions for the workshops.

Grey Flannel is not my favorite color in our 60 exclusive colors, however, I do love this card.  It looks icy and wintry.  I am still hoping for some winter weather in Texas!

This ended up being my favorite card.  I used the rock 'n roll technique with 1st and 2nd generation Twilight ink and Chocolate for the word stamp.  And, who doesn't love a cappuccino, hot chocolate, or cup of hot tea!

Elemental Workshop on the Go Cards

These are the cards that I created for the Elemental Workshop on the Go.  The great thing about the Elemental kit is that it so versatile.  This card was created to celebrate July 4th.

This card is a birthday card.  The stamp set for this kit is Cricut compatible so all the images were cut out on the Cricut.  We used the sanding technique on all the cards as that was one of the techniques that they used for the WOTG.

This card can be used for all occasions or birthday.  I love these Cricut flowers and I learned something new from my friend, Bea (she is so talented).  She said that she likes to bend the petals back with the tweezers and it works great!

**Tips - I used the tweezers to roll the flowers up and then let them spring out.
Use the back/curved side of the tweezers you can bend the petals back.
Re-roll by hand and glue in place with liquid glass.

The Elemental WOTG Kit includes:  Elemental Level 2 Paper, Just Blooms Paper Shapes, Designer Brads Antique Copper, and the Workshop Guide.  The kit is $35 (that includes the tax and shipping)

Believe Workshop on the Go Cards

This month I chose to use Originals - Terrific Triplets card pattern for the Believe Workshop on the Go Cards.   I think they turned out pretty cute!

I used the Blending Pen and stamp pads to fill in this cheerful Santa.  I scissor distressed the edges (because a little birdie told me they were tired of sponging - wink, wink - you know who you are).  I think the ribbon and ribbon slide are darling accents for a Santa card as it resembles his belt!

I utilized the Dimensional Elements Stars to embellish this card along with the Olive Mini Medley that comes in the workshop kit.

I don't know about you, but I can always use extra Thank You cards (especially at Christmas time).  This one is adorned with a double stacked Dimensional Elements Stars and the cutest little button brads from the Olive Mini Medley.
